- Correction: Minor errors that do not invalidate the findings may be corrected through an official correction note linked to the article.
- Retraction: Articles may be retracted where there is reliable evidence of major error, plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated data, unethical research, or other serious misconduct.
- Expression of concern: The journal may issue an expression of concern while an investigation is ongoing.
- Withdrawal before publication: Authors requesting withdrawal must submit a written explanation. Withdrawal after peer review may be denied where misuse or duplicate-submission concerns exist.
- Post-publication updates must preserve the integrity of the scholarly record and remain visible to readers.
