Fair & Unbiased Evaluation
Editors must evaluate manuscripts purely on their scholarly merit, without regard to the authors' race, gender, nationality, religious beliefs, or institutional affiliation. All authors deserve equal, respectful consideration.
Confidentiality of Submissions
Editors must treat all submitted manuscripts as confidential documents. Information about manuscripts must not be shared with anyone except authorized reviewers and relevant editorial staff, and must never be used for personal advantage.
Conflict of Interest Management
Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where they have a conflict of interest — whether competitive, collaborative, financial, or personal — with any of the authors or institutions involved.
Publication Decision Authority
The editor-in-chief is solely responsible for accepting or rejecting a paper. This decision is always guided by the journal's policies, peer review outcomes, and applicable legal requirements including defamation, copyright, and plagiarism laws.
Timely & Efficient Review Process
Editors are responsible for maintaining a responsive and efficient peer review process, ensuring that authors receive timely decisions accompanied by clear, constructive, and actionable feedback to help improve their work.
Investigation of Misconduct
Editors must take appropriate action when ethical concerns arise — including contacting author institutions, issuing expressions of concern, or coordinating retractions — to maintain the integrity of the published scholarly record.
Reviewer Selection & Oversight
Editors are responsible for selecting qualified, impartial reviewers and for monitoring the quality and timeliness of reviews. They must ensure the double-blind process is maintained and that reviewer feedback is constructive and professional.
